    FOR the first time, Nyahbinghi music is nominated for a Grammy Award. The Wingless Angels -- Deluxe Limited Edition, a collaboration between Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards and ska great Justin Hinds, is one of five albums selected for a Grammy in the Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package category.

    The Vinyl Experience

    Mindless Records announces Wingless Angels: Limited Edition Vinyl, a collector's version of Wingless Angels Volumes I &II, the acclaimed recordings from the world of Rastafarian Nyahbinghi music. Originally issued on CD digitally in 2010.

    Assembled and recorded with Keith Richards, this collection includes the last known studio recordings of legendary Jamaican music pioneer Justin Hinds.

    Only 1,000 of these are being produced. When they are gone, no more will be made.

    Of great interest to Rolling Stones / Keith Richards fans as well as Reggae and World Music collectors.

    Written by Justin Hinds and Locksley Whitlock, "Shady Tree" is one of only a handful of original songs by Wingless Angels. The group's material is largely adapted from Christian church songs and shares some percussion traits with the Afro-Christian "revival" group tradition.
